New chiropractice patients
At Avalon Beach Chiropractic, we believe that understanding the cause of a problem is just as important as treating the symptoms.
Most new patients begin with a comprehensive consultation and assessment so we can gain a clear understanding of their health history, current condition, goals, and whether chiropractic care is appropriate for them. This process helps us provide personalised recommendations while ensuring treatment is both safe and effective.
Your initial visit includes a detailed history, examination, and any appropriate neurological, orthopaedic, or postural assessments. In some cases, X-rays may be recommended and referred to PRP Imaging (Medicare rebates may apply).
Following your assessment, we will explain our findings, answer any questions, and discuss the most appropriate recommendations for your individual needs.
In most cases, treatment recommendations are provided at a follow-up Report of Findings appointment, allowing us to fully review your results and tailor care to your specific circumstances. In selected cases, treatment may be provided on the first visit where clinically appropriate and safe to do so.
Already seeing a chiropractor?
Patients who have been receiving regular chiropractic care elsewhere, have had a recent assessment, and are seeking continuation of care may be suitable for a modified assessment process.
Treatment may be available on the first visit depending on their history, current presentation, and clinical findings.
If you're unsure which appointment is right for you, please call our team on (02) 9918 0070 and we'll be happy to help.
